About Marc J. Kleinman

Marc J. Kleinman is the founder and managing consultant of MJK Life Science Solutions, LLC, where he works with start-up and early-stage biotechnology, healthcare IT, and life science product development groups to build successful companies in the healthcare and medical technology sectors. Prior to his work in commercial life sciences, Mr. Kleinman conducted neuroscience research in several academic laboratories, investigating biochemical and electrophysiological questions related to the development of drugs and devices for the treatment of nervous system and cardiovascular disorders, resulting in publications in peer-reviewed journals. Mr. Kleinman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a finalist for the Barry M. Goldwater Achievement in Science Research; he also holds a Master of Science degree in biomedical engineering from Purdue University, where he concentrated in neural engineering. Prior to college, Mr. Kleinman was a Junior Olympian and nationally-ranked in alpine ski racing and a winner of the Harvard Book Prize. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
